Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rsume ("the Service"), operated by Rsume Indonesia, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

Rsume provides an online platform for resume building, PDF exports, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) audits, and AI-powered content optimization. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the Service at our discretion.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information (Name, Email) to create an account.

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

We support standard credentials and third-party OAuth providers (Google). You agree to abide by the terms of those third-party providers when linking accounts.

4. Payments, Tiers, and Refunds

  • Tiers: We offer Free and Pro tiers. Specific features for each tier are detailed on our pricing page.
  • Advertising: Free and guest builders may display third-party ads after cookie consent. Pro builders are ad-free.
  • Payments: All transactions are processed securely via a third-party payment gateway.
  • Finality of Sale: Unless required by local law, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds are only considered in the event of documented technical failure (e.g., double-billing or failure to unlock features after payment).
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.

5. AI Disclaimer and Accuracy

  • User Review Required: Rsume utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to suggest content and optimize resumes. AI can make mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the factual accuracy of all content before using it for job applications.
  • No Guarantee of Employment: Rsume does not guarantee that using our Service will result in job interviews or employment.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of the text and data you input ("User Content").
  • License: You grant Rsume a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
  • Free Users: Resumes created through a Free account are stored as part of your account so that creation, re-download, security, support, and Service-improvement features can operate. The access and deletion rights in our Privacy Policy continue to apply.
  • Guest Exports: When you export without an account, you authorize Rsume to retain a snapshot of the exported CV for up to 30 days for service operation, security, support, usage analytics, and quality improvement. Image media is removed from the analytics snapshot. Selecting the export button constitutes acceptance of this processing and our Privacy Policy.
  • Our Property: The Rsume name, logo, "layout engine", and design elements are the exclusive property of Rsume and may not be copied or reverse-engineered.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rsume shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

8. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or "stress test" our AI infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts (bots) to scrape data or generate resumes in bulk.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to the Service or other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
